About Aston and Cote Community Trust

The Community Trust is a registered charity (number 304258) and is managed by a committee which is substantially made up of those organisations who regularly use the village hall.

The Trust was established by a trust deed in May 1967. It was created to receive ownership of the land on which the village hall, recreation field and playgrounds on Cote Road, Aston, are now sited.

Our facilities are a vital resource for the local organisations that enable educational, recreational and leisure time activities to the benefit of our community. Through careful management of our facilities by a team made up of volunteers, mostly from the local organisations themselves, we help to provide essential services.

Aims of the Trust

To inspire educational, recreational and leisure time activities, to the benefit of the residents of Aston and Cote.

To enable residents, voluntary organisations and businesses to make use of our village hall and recreation grounds to help build a thriving community in Aston and Cote.

To secure the future of the village hall and recreation grounds and maintain and manage them to ensure that they meet relevant legislation and provide a suitable environment for promoting activities that benefit current and future generations of Aston and Cote.

To promote the benefit of the people of Aston and Cote, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, disability, age, race or of political and religious beliefs, or other opinions.
